Installation of cork floors
The solution to the issue of how to mount the cork floor should start with such a rather responsible procedure as preparing the basis. For this, first of all, you will need to maximize the bin floor. At the same time, it is not necessary to create a cement screed at all. It is important that the black coating is quite smooth and even, and most importantly – dry. As a base, even a simple organite or cement-stoves can be applied.
In one or another version or another, before starting the installation of the cork coating, it will be necessary to put a simple plastic film under it, which is required to protect against condensate. In the upper part, another substrate made of polypropylene should be placed on it. The thickness of which should be 2-3 centimeters (similarly to the laminate substrate).
To lay a floating coating, you will need a pencil, roulette and a hacksaw, and if you decide to stick cork plates, a suitable container for glue, roulette, spatula and roller will come in handy for you.
It should be paid to the fact that before starting to work with purchased cork products, they need to be freed from packaging and allowed to lay down for two days (for acclimatization).
