Law enforcement agencies revealed serious violations in the creation of Moscow City
The prosecutor’s office, together with the police and the FSB, held a raid on the facilities under construction and already put into operation in the territory of Moscow-City. As a result of the audit, it was revealed that at least one of the buildings is built with gross violations and can collapse at any time.
The fact is that, when erecting a new Afimall shopping complex, reinforcing cages filled with construction garbage were exhibited instead of the planned capital load -bearing concrete columns, partially fastened with cement mortar. With such power elements collected on a “living thread”, a huge structure can develop as a house of cards. Mosgorstroynadzor, in turn, discovered another building in the Moscow City Business District, which is created against the established construction rules. We are talking about the cinema concert hall (by the way, not far from Afimoll City). In this case, significant deviations from the approved project were noticed. In addition to violation of the construction rules in the territory related to Moscow City, a number of other illegal actions were established and, in particular, the operation of labor of unregistered workers and unlawful issuance of areas of the business center. According to the revealed violations, the relevant acts and address of the prefect of the Central Administrative District of Moscow “Center – City” were sent to an idea with the requirement of immediate elimination of deficiencies and punishment of the perpetrators. As for the immediate cause of the above prosecutor’s inspection, it is associated with the investigation of a criminal case on a recent case of the death of a worker, to whom the beam fell on the head.
