Acrylic sealant
Acrylic sealant is a material for eliminating seams and cracks in surfaces of various kinds. Acrylic sealant has hypoallergenic properties, it is not toxic, it can be used for external and internal work, it is waterproof and not waterproof. Acrylic sealant must be used for sedentary and fixed compounds. If you need to close the seams on the surface that you plan to paint, you can use this material, because it can be painted. The material shows good adhesion to surfaces of various kinds – concrete, plaster, gypsum, brick, PVC, wood and others. Acrylic sealant dries fast enough. Before applying this material, the surface must be degreased, cleaned of dirt and dust. The use of non -combustible sealant can be added to fire measures, since not all acrylic sealants are non -combustible, the material must be selected according to the requirements.
Acrylic sealant can be used to install floor skirting boards to eliminate cracks in the walls and ceiling, to seal the cracks between the walls and the windowsill, to compact window frames and doorways. For facade work, a special facade sealant is used, which has moisture resistance and frost resistance.
Acrylic sealant cannot be applied to the surface at a temperature below +5 degrees. Read the instructions for the material carefully – when it freezes when it can be painted. Until the sealant is frozen, it can be washed off with water. When working with the material, use protective gloves. To align the sealant, it is necessary to use a wet spatula.
