Concrete plasticizer
In order to qualitatively improve the characteristics of concrete, in the process of its production in a mixture consisting of cement, various aggregates and water, concrete plasticizer is also introduced. The use of this component promises the benefits of economic terms, as it leads to the savings of cement, water and energy resources, in particular, the use of plasticizers can significantly reduce the temperature that is set during the technological processing. And ready -made concrete acquires such properties as increased fluidity, plasticity, strength, frost resistance, water – and gas -resistance. To date, there are a huge number of varieties of concrete plasticizers that make it possible to improve precisely the properties of the material that the need for which occurs in the process of specific production or repair and construction work. Plasticizers are also made, which are a whole complex of additives, the action of which is aimed at once at several diverse characteristics. Complex additives save from the need to select individual compositions of a narrow orientation and take care of their compatibility with each other. The ingredients of complex plasticizers do not enter into an unwanted reaction in the mixture.
The use of plasticizers makes it possible to pour products with thin walls and a large reinforcement content. The plasticizer improves the clutch between the concrete mixture and the surface of the reinforcing elements. Using concrete plasticizers, you can get an additional mobility of the concrete mixture required in the hot season. Plasticizers can increase the speed of the maximum strength of concrete structures. Modern plasticizers allow you to carry out work with concrete mixtures even under water. Concrete plasticizer is usually used in relation to 0.15 to 0.3 to the weight of the astringent component (cement). In addition to improving the characteristics of ready -made concrete mixtures, the presence of a plasticizer facilitates the process of mixing used components.
